PRESCHOOL PLAYGROUP
Ages 2.5- 5
Our Preschool Playgroup is a warm and engaging class designed to nurture early learning, independence, and social confidence. Through a thoughtfully planned mix of games, crafts, sensory exploration, structured activities, and open play time, children will build essential preschool readiness skills in a fun and supportive environment.
This class focuses on early literacy and math foundations, fine and gross motor development, listening skills, following directions, and cooperative play. Most importantly, children will have meaningful opportunities to socialize, practice sharing and turn-taking, and listen & follow directions patterns.
A “gentle separation” approach will be introduced to encourage growing independence. Caregivers are welcome to join alongside their young learner, stay in the front area to enjoy a cup of coffee, or even step away to their car for a few minutes, we just ask that you stay on premises. This gentle separation will look different for each learner and should be tapered to their readiness. The gradual separation helps children build confidence and comfort in a classroom setting while knowing their caregiver is nearby.
This session is designed for children ages 2.5- 5. Please note that younger siblings may not attend due to small materials that are not suitable for children under two years old.
We look forward to learning, playing, and growing together!
